A downloadable game for Windows

Duel your friends at university with cards based on famous philosophers!

You just started your classes at Huginn University to learn Philosophy. But in this school, Philosophers duke it out in a popular card game! Build your deck and rise to the top and become the best philosophy student in the class!

Features:

  • Three starting decks - Greeks, Psych or Marxism.
  • Customizable character avatar.
  • Energetic and fast paced duels.
  • Customize your deck with booster packs.
  • You can modify and program your own cards!

The game is currently in alpha. When I complete the engine expect to see much more story/educational content!

Blind players! Replace %appdata%/WhatIsPhilosophyAnyways/config.ini with the file config_lv_default.ini found in the game's base directory. This includes default options for blind accessibility.

Note: To play the Philosophy Game Jam version, select the first version. This page is also used to update the current game.

Thanks, I’ll look into it. I just started working on the game again after health issues, haha. Thanks so much for your support :)

I’m currently building out the AI and I should be finishing it in the next few days - this bug looks like it didn’t load one of the accessibility strings properly. An earlier version might not have this bug but I’ll try to make sure I get this fixed before my next release.

Expect something in the next week or so. Thanks so much for your support it means a lot! Especially for blind play testing!

ah thanks to you, may you be in the best shape there is. To be honest i, really , love everything that you're doing and i, i wish that i could somehow support you, it's really...

oh my god your games are so niiiice, i wish i can support you somehow, if i only could do digimoney bizzness

I was using the Marx starter pack and encountered the above crash quite frequently.

Thanks, I’ll look into it. My current updates that I’m working on might actually fix this problem though. I’m currently developing replays so you can submit a crash report.

Do you know what card(s) triggers the bug? That will make it a lot easier to test.

Love the concept and game design
