Added Cutscenes
I’ve added a cutscene engine that has custom backgrounds, music support and can string different characters together now. This will allow me to build up the story later. I’m going to add a few more effects too like particles and things like that to make it a little less boring. But the core workflow works really well so there’s that.
I still have to create Free Duel, Options, Help and Accessibility, but I think I can pump these out through the week since they’re just simple UI functions. Hopefully.
The goal is to have most of the game’s core engine complete by the end of the week Sunday, and focus on designing the card effect system. This way the game can be much more fleshed out, I can experiment with balance ect. much more than the simple beat down simulator right now.
